Newley laid concrete how long be for drive on

Well this is a fail from the start, laid yesterday c50 then covered like this, I then put the barrier tape around it all to make it clear its there.

simon the temperature never made it above freezing yesterday
are you stark raving mad?
I have been waiting all week to lay 17 tegula kerbs and 6 metres of block paving
concrete does produce heat as it cures but i fear the worst mate

As LLL aid, you shouldn't really have laid concrete yesterday due to the freezing temperatures (although it just about made 2 to 3 degrees in Kent yesterday afternoon). If you used a C50, particularly if with CEMI, you might be OK. However, if it was affected by frost, the surface of the slabs will show signs of spalling due the formation of ice lenses.

We always advise our customers not to place concrete until the air temperature 2 to 3 degC and rising unless precautions are taken to keep the temperature of the concrete itself above 5 degC with suitable insulation etc. Unfortunately, all too often the advice is ignored.

Lol guys, I did not lay it it was a contractor my boss uses, I was on the understanding you could not lay if it is +4 or less,

Oh we'll we will see how long it lasts, probably not very long...
