Who laid this pipe

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Had to find out why toilet block was not running very well, this is what i found,
90deg. bend,pipe butted up to each other,the fall not the same all along, 45deg bend in main line

we relaid it and made it right.... :D

Thats only half the job, septic tank run off pipe was running up hill 200mm in 4 m, tank would not drain,
The guy was a local "drain expert" so he told the lady...
3 days later job was put right, take longer to put it right than do it to start with MSH :)

..and that alkathene water pipe is nowhere near a metre deep!

How can anyone lay pipes like that? Was it a case of dig-out-and-lay one pipe at a time? If you have a full-length trench, it's so much easier to lay to a regular gradient and a straight line, even if you don't have the luxury of a hi-tech string line.
