I need to find a drain cover with minimal depth as a builder who came in to dig a soakaway has left me a pipe to outlet the water from my patio, but it is only 20mm below the base of the flagstones.
I cannot put the flags any higher because of the DPC on the house and I cannot lower the pipe because the soakaway is complete and burried...
Does anyone know a web supplier of drain covers (preferably round & metal) that would meet this need...
Thanks in advance...
John

I suspect you mean you are looking for a gully pot (or grid) to drain water from the surface of your patio; you will struggle to find any trapped gully with an outlet depth of 20/30mm.
Why so shallow? can you not chase the outlet pipe to gain any depth ?
You really need a trap of some kind to intercept silt so your soak-away does not clog, alternatively was your contractor assuming you would install a gravel edge to the patio along with a perforated land drain, even then 20mm is not sufficient cover.

You are right on what I need, unfortunately the contractor did not leave enough space to add a u bend ... I can't really see any way around this issue... the pipe points vertical, the paving around is set ... I think I will need to put a cover over it and hope for the best ... any ideas where I can get the top to put on this ??
Thanks

www.manholecovers.com - you asked for "drain covers" and that's what they do. If it's just a simple 150mm grating you need, your local Travis Bloody Perkins or Sodding Jewsons will be able to help.
