the flat conversion we have been on has this heavy duty steel fire door, which is now surplus

i reckon the frame weighs 80 kg and the door 100kg
only accessible from the inside when the door is locked with hinge protection and 4 shoot bolts

It measures 860 by 2060mm

It was the fire door on a computer warehouse so had to be secure

one and a half would be a great start to the xmas do

what does santa reckon

any takers?

Pm pls if intereted

cheers LLL

That is a lush door, someone is going to need that for sure, seems a shame to weigh the thing in.

when they have no sellers left maybe they will understand
hopefully by then it will be too late
ebay BS
as for google amazon and starbucks and their tax avoidance schemes,i wonder if the revenue would look so kindly on small builders ?

the local scrap dealers here all drop the prices from the beginning of November till mid February, because everyone's weighing in the Christmas bonus/trying to pay off the xmas credit card.

Could you both not set up a private ebay account to sell a few bits and pieces rather than being business sellers?

bob i was on it from 99
the first day i joined there were 3 furbys for sale in the UK
i used it here and there for around 6-7 years then mrs lout heard of it
thing is once they stopped you leaving feedback for buyers it became an extortionists dream
my mrs was selling brand new clothing in bags
she would get emails saying
"there is a mark on the leg, knock off a fiver and i wont neg you"
"i dont think my size 34 white trousers look sexy enough,i want to return them at your cost"
"I want it tomorrow"
total and complete messers, but its ebays fault
all they want is big business on there
when it goes skint i will shed no tears for the muppets that run it

I agree with you that there are scam buyers on there.
Businesses and things such as mobiles seem to be targeted the most.
I've sold a few things but touch wood I haven't been had yet, perhaps its just a matter of time?
I'm going to list some used toys soon. Probably won't get much for them but you never know.

when i have sold stuff it has been very self explanatory the details etc. and its normally pick up only
I.E. chimney pots, garage doors whatever
but I am not happy with some tablet in america telling me that I " offer free delivery and better service to my customers" <cue corny accent>

like a lot of things in life involving people it worked better when it was self policed
