Had a lot of my customers phoning me up last couple of weeks for some reason. Got 2 deckings to do, a few gardens to tidy up, wall to repoint, 1 small driveway to do. Put 2 bigger jobs off until next year, one is wanting front garden design, the other is wanting driveway and backgarden done.
Trying to put wall repointing off until next year, but it's a doctors surgery and an 8ft stone wall that has a tree growing in the middle of it. So I may have setup a tent and get cracking on that one.

he was dead keen on his double extension, booked us in for february,60k job
I have a folder with 35 sides of A4 ,prices for steels windows, structural calcs, all sorts you name it
went past today and the job is plate high
I dont mind pricing stuff and not getting it but he has basically wasted a week of my life and didnt have the courtesy to ring and write and say he found someone else

True, Giles. I was just over Dublin way last weekend,it was dire over there. Last year it was bad ,but this time things on the building side were worse. We walked down the Quay side to see what to tower crane were building in 2006. Looks like there were building mothballed projects.
It was so quiet, the council had actually began litter picking, cleaning and painting the town centre. :p
