Tremendous stuff. When good quality Yorkstone is laid to that standard, there is no substitute.

Glad to see that Haggis back in the fold. It seemed like you were turning over some serious work for your boss. Thats a classic, boss thinks were going too slow, customer thinks were going too fast haha

I cba to take pictures of the flat conversion its so ugly its soul destroying what we are being paid to do,
the flats will be nice internally but you have to question why 1 building now has 6 different bricks in it?

oh and i saw this little beauty at the allotments yesterday

cheers LLL :)

it never ceases to amaze me when people are getting something for nothing, still have the temerity to complain!

the previous fence was in pieces ,took me 5 minutes to get it down
i explained that gravel boards are a better job but she wanted it her way
FOC
TBH i think its the little green man that causes a lot of this
kind of pettiness

plastering sand and cement 3:1 through the gun
turned into a right ballache as detailed previously with the sudden 10 minute downpour
it had rained sunday night but it has dried up quite grey when its dry but rock hard
still nervous about anything but sand/cement after my previous experiences
cheers LLL :)

Those 4 courses of bricks do look odd. How come the fence was FOC Tony?

my client had basically redone everything inside and outside her house
all that looked tatty was the 3 1/2 panels of 3 foot fence on 4 course of blown bricks
there were 12 foot high conifers there before as well
so she asked the neighbour if she could replace it at her cost
we had those hit and miss panels specially made so it worked 3 panels (£££) and still the neighbour didnt want gravel boards
anyway we got paid but the neighbour got a much better fence for zilch
the old 4 courses was on mud ,so picked up 10 bags of postcrete and used that as an impromptu footing yesterday morning ???
cheers LLL

Back to the big extension that we did in the summer to start the paving
Using old chancery paving that we took up. Putting a brick on edge round everything.
