Hi

We have a raised black limestone patio (which is an altogether different challenge!!) that sits on a vertical black brick bed if that makes any sense.

It’s about a year old, and we get a continual white stain appearing from one or two of the grouted/pointed joints on the vertical brick faces, it seems to a be like calcium stain. I say continual, as we can clean it off with a stiff brush (or when it gets really severe a wire brush) but it just comes back again, it seems to be caused by the rain running down it. There are two areas where it happens, all the other joints don’t do it!!

Any suggestions as to how we can stop it permanently?

As soon as I suss how to upload a photo I will

thanks
