My contractor left me with some surplus paving sealer, it is a violet blue colour and has a strong odour. When its stirred it turns opaque. I am trying to identify the manufacturer to check on the shelf life and just in case I want to order some more. It wasn't cheap £125.00 which I am guessing was for about 30 lite plus.

Before you ask, I am not speaking to the contractor as made that may mistakes I threw him off the job.

30 litres for £125 is very cheap
decent sealers start at £20 per litre

I've never seen a violet-blue paving sealant. Are you sure it's not paint? Every genuine sealant I've ever seen has been clear or clear-ish and colourless.

As Luton says, thats a very cheap price for sealant. If its that cheap then it will be utter crap and will give a look like you have covered your patio in superglue
