I will never forget the 200 luton fans outside Bolton station in the early 70's all wearing white bakers and braces, doc martens and black bowler hats all in a line like little school boys with a heavy police presence

Best "sight" I saw at a footy match was at Anfield a few years back. Last game of the season, playing Villa, and many of their fans had come in fancy dress. They'd been bunged into the Anfield Rd stand and we were in the corner of the Main stand so only a few metres away.
After going 2-0 down, the Villa crowd decided that as their team wasn't proividing much in the way of entertainment, they'd make their own fun, so they started effing about, nothing nasty or malicious, just excessive high spirits and lots of comments aimed at a rather portly Liverpool fan sat a couple of rows behind us who they insisted was really Rooney in disguise.
After 10-15 minustes, the bizzies decided they'd had enough and grabbed a handful of the more boisterous Villa fans and marched them out. The sight of a bizzie frog-marching a Villa fan dressed in a stripey burglar top and eye mask, carrying over his shoulder a sack labelled "SWAG" will stay with me forever! Wish I had my camera with me....

Went to a mid-week european game at O.T back in the early 90s and noticed a guy outside the ground in a home made outfit, looked like a man-utd bed spread with arm holes cut into it and he was murdering some tune (the theme from great escape i think) on his trumpet, said to our kid i pity the poor sod sat next to him for 90mins.
Sure enough when i get to my seat who was sat behind me, bloody Herb Alpert in a bed spread

It's the mitres that make the job - lovely detailing. Get me another photie, will you, when it's cleaned off. It'll make a good addition to the gallery on the Mitre Cuts page.

faultless as ever tony
I liked the fact you jointed the kerbs
there is a drive in my road where they have seriously cranked the joints open to get the curve, and no joints have been filled.
that and the slips and darts, from a supposedly reputable company!
