the weather has been fantastic the last 6 weeks down this way
we have 4000 bricks in a boundary wall and lost no more than 10 minutes to rain in 5 days
cheers LLL
The weather is absolutely awful up here, and i mean crap....torrential rain every day. Been like this for weeks. Im still in bed, no point even bothering
Today was a nice day here. Good job as I got 16ton of 10mm SMA, ordered 120 pen and they sent 50!
Didn't realise till it was down, thought f**k me that was a hard shift and checked the ticket
I had to go to a funeral yesterday, but they couldn't plant the poor sod as the ground in the boneyard had become unstable due to all the rain. It seems they took the coffin back to the undertakers to be stored on a shelf until such time as the ground dries out.
my dad told me a story about his auntie anne's funeral when they turned up at the graveyard and the pre dug hole next to her husband was flooded, dad ended up stripped to his pants on a cold november day in Gorton bailing out the grave before the cortège arrived.
