Driving on a flagstone path. - Flagstone path down the centre of driv

Hi, New here.

The plan is a double width gravel drive on decent MOT base.
A flagstone path, Marshals or Bradstone type (25mm) set on Mortar bed level(ish) with the Gravel between the 2 cars.

My question is, will the Marshals or Bradstone flags survive the manoeuvring of cars on the drive in that it may be necessary to swing round and cross the paving when parking.

"Council" flags are an alternative but not very pretty.

Any comments or suggestions welcome.

It's touch and go. A single course with gravel between has no lateral support, so the bedding needs to really adhere to the flags and hold them firmly. Also, with the flags being wafers, you need a substantial bed, and for cars, I usually recommend 100mm of ST1 concrete or equivalent. To get a good bond between concrete and the flagstones, you really need a bond bridge.

I assume these are natural stone flags, and I have reservations regarding the thin options, especially when there are manoeuvring issues which will impose shearing forces on the flags, so I'd usually recommend the ticker 45mm or 60mm flags, which obviously cost hell of a lot more.

Sorry I miss-led, they would be the coloured concrete paving slabs.

I wouldn't use them for a driveway. 25mm thin?? They're way too weak for vehicular traffic.
