Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

had some sandstone paving laid 6 months ago, initially had some effloresence issues and that has vastly improved over the summer, however there is one point in the paving that the rain does not run off (poor workmanship when laid) and the water collects and now i have a dark red type appearance on the stones in this area and also the grout/mortar. can anybody help?

The stone in that area will be taking in loads of moisture and will have just darkened. Will probarbly jet wash off but will keep re-apearing.

Cant you not fix the paving so water runs off?
