I'm more in awe of the athletes competing in the Paralympics. Been watching the swimming and cycling, absolutely fantastic. Never really paid attention to any of the Olympics before this year. gold and silver so far. Well done to them

Watched the basket ball and swimming today, and the girl who won a medal for the power lifting, great stuff.

Some real inspiring stories, take a look at the ex-service lad throwing discus for the GB Team.

Makes you feel a right tart for complaining about losing a thumbnail or the rain being the wrong temperature

....there is no elit fot those superhuman athletes, they are all winners, they have won the admiration of nations of people like me who woyldn't normally watch sports. They have won our hearts to. Was fantastic from start to finish. Now it's finished, lets hope the meeja keep it alive by not condemming it to the inner pages and small write ups. It needs to be splashed over the paper like that football thingyjmagib. Well done to them all and good luck for their futures.
