I am looking to renew my drive. The old crumbly concrete is to be removed, new edging, new drainage into existing guttering by front door (hopefully).
Its approximatly 6m wide and 7m long with a 3m by 2m section in front of the front door and a slight slope to the garage.
Any suggestions on what finish to go for and what sort of cost to expect would be greatly appreciated.
Its to park two cars with little to no maintenance
high end block paving either clay pavers or decent concrete ones
with legally required drainage expect to pay between 5-7 grand
depending on blocks finishing touches etc

i doubt very much that a proper 50m2 tarmac drive can be constructed for £2400 with drainage etc
unless i am thinking wrong there is nearly a grand of tarmac to go on there plus waste costs, drainage edgings etc
dave L is in somerset
what would you reckon on a ballpark figure to do it right dave?

Would probably end up more than block paving then.
Have made a few enquiries and local companys are ranging between 2 and 4k for tarmac without looking at the job
