Hello beautifuls,
So we have decided to have our 64 sqm driveway block paved.
We have a clay red brick house, so I reckon the most complimentary colours would be greys/granite.
We've found two decent builders who are within £200 of each other quote wise for an Indian stone path/steps and a plaspave sorrento block drive in Sarsen with como cobble edging in granite.
Now, I haven't paid much attention to driveway materials in my life before .... But obviously I'm now obsessed!
Do you super paving experts think that Indian stone would look stupid against sorrento blocks?
We've not picked a Indian stone colour, but I'm wondering it having a natural stone against a concrete block will look awful?
I wanted the path to look special but not in a ridiculous way.
Have any of you lovely lot done anything similar? Photos i can peep at please?
Or do you have any path suggestions? I'm going for the cottage look really.
Also what do you think of plaspave? Is there any better makers out there for similar pricing?
Ta chuckles,
Natalie

welcome to the brew cabin natalie
generally speaking it isnt right to mix natural material I.E. stone and concrete block paving
also with any drive patio or path more than 3 different styles or colours can start to look too busy
however rules are there to be broken
the sarsen look very similar to tegula traditional to me
i would have a look at mick gammages site
for some excellent design ideas
cheers LLL
