Hello, I am searching for a reputable local contractor (Walsall, W.Mids) experienced in the installation of cellular type drive for off-road parking (frontage of late 40's semi; I haven't measured it but it's not massive - 2 cars, plus a bit of pedestrian access to front door)
Job wd. involve excavation and removal of heavy clay sub-soil; install all edgings; sub-base and cellular system for gravel/grass).
Verifiable local references wd. be required.
Other issues: tarmac, pavers wd. not seem suitable as the area is heavily infested with horsetail; plus the "clay" issue)
Budget is £1,500 Max (I hope I am not being fanciful)

those cell systems cost a tenner a metre for starters
your best bet is to get 3 quotes and then compare them
starting with a budget and trying to work back from that usually ends in the cheapest (and not necessarily the best) guy doing the job
