got this for the 3-8 ton machines for the awkward jobs the tractor ones to big for, great steal off ebay £800+vat going for 1600 normally, they even delivered it from suffolk

got 100 metres of post and rail to do on thursday with it

How do you make sure the posts are in straight and true?

Doesn't bother us we got an invoice and will get the vat back, but yeah they are meant to. The other bit of kit he was delivering up this way was a flail mower for excavator, looked a great bit of kit but was 2k

I'd say that was a bit of a bargain! As you say, it's normally possibly to use the excavator to level the posts. On the right sort of soil, there is no faster way of banging the posts into place.

Weve got a king hitter on our John Deere with a 500kg weight that's better for big runs on good ground, but this is going to be a great tool for those awkward jobs up bankings and where a 9 ton tractor can't get.

Gonna have the fabricator make a bracket for the 3cx/8 ton excavator as well

Need to make a slip over bracket for blade to pull trailer with fencing on it.

there not aloud to add vat on to ebay any more

i ahve had this out with ebay time and time again and they keep changing the rules.
They told me if its a classified ad, they can ad vat on, but not if its a normal auction. I reported one ebayer who persitantly did this, and nothing has been done. Nothing in ebays current rules about this so i assume they have changed again?

That link is old as it still says 15% vat!
