Hi, can you use normal patio slabs for a driveway?, and if so is their a special way of laying them to insure they dont crack or break with the weight of a car on them?.

As long as they are installed correctly with the right subbase, you can use slabs for a driveway.

Block paving is a better option though

When you say normal patio slabs do you mean grey 2x2s?

Slabs are tough but brittle, as long as there are no voids beneath them then they can comfortably take the weight of vehicles.
