I'm just putting the finishing touches to a new page about black limestone and the problem of fading which blights it.
I have dozens, probably hundreds, of photies of the limestone once it has faded and disappointed the clients, but almost none of any projects when the limestone is new and fresh and actually black (or dark grey, at least).
So, if anyone has any decent photies of black limestone in pristine condition, whether it's as flags or setts, and would be willing to let me use them on the new webpage in return for a credit, can you give me a shout?

Roger: thanks, but the tone of the page is about the need to seal them, so I was hoping for photos of "before", ideally.
Henpecked: if it was for a private report or to illustrate a point in a training session I might be tempted to use Google-sourced images, but as it's for publication on the website, I really need IP and copyright clearance, which means permission from the owner. I could ask London Stone (for example) for permission to use one of their publicity shots, but I thought I'd throw it open to the contractors first, and give them a chance of earning fame and fortune. (Well, infamy at least!)

And here is the reason the above paving had to be cleaned.
Builders doing the extension left it in this state,

Roger: the 'before and after' photies are pretty much the central idea behind the new page, but I set out to determine which sealants give best (or better) results. Which did you use?
The improvement is dramatic, but if only it were possible for a good sealant to correct those crossed joints!

Steve,
seeing as none of the contractors have put forward photies, I'll take you up on your generous offer, but I'll let you have a sneaky peek at the page first, just in case you think it is a bit anti-black limestone (which I tried not to be) and don't want your company name featured. I'll PM over the we address now....
