not having a pop pablo but is the turf itself in the top 2 pictures a little bit ropey?
it goes like that when its been left rolled up too long and it "cooks"
sometimes it comes back, but not often

Yeah it was 26 deg that day couldn't have picked a worse day for it most of what you're seeing is sand but I've been back several times since and it's taking well so should be fine the second garden may need a small area thats been underwatered by the client replaced but thats not a biggy.
Can't see it from my house

I like knowing how to drive the sae pattern over the now more common ISO pattern good skill to have, but I'd like a brand new one with joysticks. Leaning forward all day is a pita.

on my first ever go the other week i went to ivinghoe turf and had to wait while they cut a pallet full
it had taken well within 10 days and was 4 inches high
i know sod all about landscaping but have seen lads lay brown turf which has died rapid and then they blame the housekeeper
as a material its cheap as chips so very cost effective to do right
