Caravan standing base depth - How deep should the base be for caravan

Other groundworks tasks, such as roads and footpaths, terracing, fencing, foundations, walls and brickwork, tools and plant.

Hi,
I need to make a drive / standing for a small caravan. The caravan weighs 800KG, has two wheels and will be manoevered on and off the drive way a maximum of 40 times a year.

I have seen the specs for driveways for cars, but since this will receive much less use can I reduce the depth of the base? How deep would you suggest if I use paving stones.

Thanks

Id say no, whats the point in risking the paving sink for the £100 or so you'll save?

Could probably get away with it, but as Kuts says it's hardly a saving in money for the increased risk in it failing.
Can also use it to park a car later if you get rid of the caravan.

Do it right, job worth doing its worth doing right,

What happens when you sell up etc or mr delivery man backs onto that bit etc

It's likely to cost very little to do it right vs skimping
