Rust marks on granite - Cleaning them

I have a granite table with a polished top and it has rust marks
on it. the marks/stains got there through the packaging.
anyone know a good product to use on it?
elbow grease does not do it.

There are specialist products for rust removal but they are a little expensive. Its one of the harder stains to remove from natural stone.

Lithofin do a product, can't remember the name but its a dedicated rust remover as far as i know.

I'm sure someone with some actual knowledge will be along soon.

We sell this one. Never used it on granite but dont see why it wouldnt work.

What is the surface finish of the granite?

g603 polished

Ive used lithofin bero and rust-ex on sandstone and i wasnt overly impressed with either, used a combination of one after the other of both with hot water a jet wash and a soft wire bush - eventually got them off. But it would of been cheaper in hindsight to just lift the flag

Have you got no recourse with your supplier? We pay Â£3 per crate on our sawn sandstone to make sure there is no contact between nails and stone. I would have thought with polished granite the supplier would be making the effort to avoid any contact between the stone and the nails

I have posted 3 links as they do vary slightly with the process but the general consensus is to us a poultice what draws the stain out of the granite
