using breaker on my hitachi zx 30 yesterday all of a sudden breaker wouldnt shut off when i took my foot off lifted armrest up still wont stop anybody had this problem

the guys over there are really helpful and some scary knowledgeable, they will answer your problem in no time, dont know why you cant post though?

Weve got that drainage job at higher trap, going up there with the 8 tonne and track dumper in a few weeks. Cheers for that Tony.

never had problem, but have you got the tap set in into breaker mode or is it in two way mode like for auger or your thumb...

breaker need to be in 1 way due to the high pressure build up on the return stroke

when was the breaker last gassed? not to do with it but without regular use they can loose the gas, we try and run our ones every month just to keep them oiled up all the way round.

sounds more like a solenoid problem or a problem at the block with the foot switch.

stripped it down wasnt pedal but valve jammed open in main valve block had to use some fine emery paper to polish it up put back together works fine
tap was set wrong and breaker pressure was the cause cheers all

joking aside, its a common one most ppl dont read the manual hehe

been using our jcb 801.6 today with our krupp breaker and noticed it continued working when arm rest was lifted been a hot day to be breaking out concrete all day knew i should have brought the 3cx and just gone heavy handed haha

decided to replace zx 30 thinking of having a change and going for a takeuchi tb 228 or might get zx 27-3 undecided had hitachis for 15 years last one not as good as rest
