Hi,

I have recently had an indian stone patio installed with a Marshalls Tegula border and I am thinking of sealing it with Lithofin MN Stain Stop Plus. Am I going to be best avoiding the block paving around the edge or is it ok to apply it to this as well?

Also whats the best way to apply it? Brush/roller or spray it one with one of those little sprayers you have to pump with a handle?

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks for the reply. On quite a hard stone like Raj Green, is it going to need more than 1 coat and how do you tell if it needs another coat?

Just wanted to check because for a 35 square metre patio its going to be over £150 just for one coat.

Thanks,
Dan

it wont cost that much mate
my patio which is modak rose took roughly a litre a coat and its 32metres
the good thing with lithofin is it impregnates the stone so you cannot see it
I believe london stone paving sell a product just as good but the name escapes me right now

Out of interest Danny why do you want to seal Raj green? As you said its a very hard stone and unless you've got a really damp garden it does not need to be sealed for any technical reasons. Also because its so hard the sealant doesnt absorb to well and will make the paving shiny, not a good luck imo.
