My driveway is a mess, it needs sorting but havent got the money at the moment to do it all, i want to block pave it.
So i thought about getting it cleared an dug out an stoned up, to make it look a little tidier then pave it once i have the money.

My question is how long can i leave the sub base without paving over it for?

Cheers.

The longer the better really, it will continue to naturally compact where used the most etc, just ramp it up to the entrance, this cen be dug away whn ready to begin work

Just make sure you get your levels right or you will end up with big puddles in heavy rain.

How deep do you guys dig soft soil when preparing the ground for paving trafficked or walking surface?
Do you often use geotextiles before stoning up?
