Welshie with respect, you cant really come on here asking for others to price your work, im of a mind that says if you dont know the cost of the work you are doing then you and i shouldnt be competing for the same job. You should be able to work out your labour by taking up a cobble and cleaning it off.

Welshie, if you get on well with the client and they want you to do it, try and get them to give you a Day rate, with some kind of maximum days allowed, and don't take the piss. Done it before, and it's always good when you finish a bit earlier than you'd allowed and they save a bit, gets the recommendations flowing. Just make sure you set a fair(both ways) price, it's sort of like giving a price, but without the burn when it goes tits up.
Cookie, my nephew Joe Clarke plays for Wrexham, loves it. I haven't been able to get up to see him this season, but he used to work for me, good grafter, seemed a good player too, but I'll leave that judgement to you mate.:)

Thanks for replies, firstly im not asking anyone to price work for me was only a guidline, surley you come across a job you have never done before and ask for bit of help pricing wise, have a good relationship with customer he asked for job price so he knows exactly what it costs, the ballpark figure had in mind was approx £1800. bearing in mind its labour only,on another note bring on the Luton got a score to settle after last year, cant make tommorrow due to work but will be in full voice on monday for the reds, think clarky will play a vital role likes to get stuck in and plays some decent football.

I'd add a couple of days onto that just to be safe and have a clause whereby you reduce the price per day if you get it done quicker that way the client will feel you're being fair and honest and you don't end up over running the budget..

i felt sorry for wrexham in 2005 we beat you 3-1 to get promoted to the championship (put 3 past future england failkeeper ben foster) and you were relegated to league 2
and look at us now
both scrapping to get out of the dead mens league :(
although the 2 sets of fans didnt get on that day (i suppose it being st george's day didn't help)
both clubs have a fair bit in common
realistically being 18 points clear of luton, wrexham deserved to be promoted
but then again harry redknapp deserves to be england manager
go figure

Apparantley someone on the selection commitee didn't have a good relationship with Redknapp! Seems a fair way to select a manager to me, not the best man for the job, just a mate!!!!
Sorry LLL I'm rooting for Wrexham, less Al Quaida. I've never liked playoffs, although we're in them again, but it should be 1st 2nd and 3rd, promotion on merit, other wise whats the point in playing well, you could be simply goal difference 3rd place, way above anyone else, and all that for nothing, what a heart breaker for your fans. Typical spivs trick.
Welshie, good luck with that one mate.

Why would anyone ever take that job on you work for a bunch of idiots and you're in charge of a bunch of t#ssers and when you get sacked which you will at some point your reputation will be in tatters regardless of what you do. Given that they're well enough paid at club level I don't think the extra money is worth it. Some of your previous managers have had superb track records and they couldn't make that team work I think you need to do what rugby did and start from scratch with fresh keen players and managment and build a team up over several years. Your rugby team will be world beaters soon enough at this rate so could your football team with some courage and patience.
