Nationwide being the south of Britain the rest of us are enjoying some fairly decent weather although it did rain for about 2 hrs last night my ears got sunburnt today.

Think there were a lot of trades on a day off today! We had to abandon our intended works and go onto small works on hard surfaces. Fire service were out in boats in our village yesterday rescuing people!! FFS!

Are groundworkers now to blame?


am I missing something...I thought we were always to blame!!

Had fine dry weathe last 2 days here, forecast tonight is for lows of -1 with yet more rain to come next week...all the long range forecasts I have seen (met office, couple of farmers ones, windfinder) all seem to say the unsettled wet weather staying till aprox end of may!
