i have just bought two jcb hydraulic jack hammers (type that go on a beaver pack )
they are both leaking oill out of the top seal. there is a cylindrical bit the handles come of this and there is an end cap its where this meets the body of the gun its leaking.
is it as simple to run the 4 Allen bolts out and a new gasket or will it need regassing ........
any one know of anyone that works on these in manchester
or who wants a pair of non running guns ?
cheers andy

right lads a pick
the left hand gun
does work but is very slow and week. under the top cap that handles are on there is a diaphragm this has a split in it 5mm long
i DONT THINK there is anything else wrong with it
the other one is missing the diaphragm and a o ring round the trigger rod
both need gassing i think
all hoses are ok dont leak but do have the odd nick in them
connectors work ok
can ship them for 15 each
cheers andy

Aslong as you aren't using a gun all day long I much prefer the MK1 hammers you have there with the rubber mounted handles rather than the improved(?!!) version with floppy handles.
