Continue in the rain? - Laying flags in the rain. . .

Good afternoon.
I'm halfway through laying flags to create a path to my shed after digging out and breaking up the old 'crazy paving'.
Anyway, questions for today are: can I continue to mix up mortar and lay the flags whilst it's raining?
And do I need to cover the path overnight to stop rain getting on it?
I suppose what I'm asking is, does the rainwater weaken the mortar to the extent that the paving will fail?
Sorry if these are stupid questions - just worried about spending hours in the rain working then watching the whole thing collapse a few days later!
Thanks for any replies
Stu.

I've just bought a draper gazebo from Amazon as a week long job took three to complete because of the rain we've been getting.

If we was designed to work in rain, we would all have a sprinkler tied over our heads keeping us wet 24hrhaggistini wrote:Can't wait for the weather or we would all be skint!
