Has anyone out there got any comments on Mossdale Natural Stone from Oakdale?

I've seen is laid at a local BM and it looks ok to me - but then again I know nothing about stone!

They're selling it for about the same price as Marshalls Heritage.

Thanks......

I can't see this in their (possibly out of date) brochure nor on their website. Is it another imported sandstone?

It's in their latest brochure (and one we picked up last summer!) but as you say there's no mention of it on their website. Some of the other paving doesn't match the brochure either so obviously the website is well out of date :(

I assume it's imported sandstone, they just describe it as "natural stone"!

It's in 4 colours of paving plus circle & octagon kits plus setts plus walling and coping.

I just wondered whether anyone had any views on the quality and whether it was a better buy than Heritage.

P.s. There are some pictures on this BM's website, although they're a bit dark and not quite as flattering as the brochure!

Looks like the bog standard Indian sandstone to me: the standard 4 colours (Greeny buff Raj greenm Light buff, light brown, and grey) along with the 560mm (140mm module) sizes are a dead giveaway.

Although there is some seconds quality stuff doing the rounds, I would imagine a company such as Oakdale, and a BM such as Parrs, would not risk selling shite, so it should be as good as anything else out there.

FYI: the 'going rate' for this type of flagstone is around 17-19 quid per square metre plus yer VAT and delivery. The prices on that website are suggesting 20+ quid per square metre, plus VAT. Try shoppping around.
