Hi, Iam looking for some help.

I have been making paving slabs and garden ornaments for about 2 years up untill july last year when my boss died.
I have a building that i rent and iam starting up on my own making and selling the the paving slabs.
I have been making slabs and ornaments at my building for about 2 weeks now and when i empty the moulds they they are not wright.
The paving slabs and ornaments that i made for my boss where all great but this time they are all like chips at the top of the slabs and ornaments.
The paving slabs and ornaments look like when iam vibrating them the chips are going to the bottom of the moulds but that should not be like that, it should be the sand and cement that go to the bottom of the mould when iam vibrating it.
I have a vibrating table
The mix i use is 4 chips 2 sand 1 25kg bag cement i small cup of rapid set frostproofer and water.
If you can help that would be great.
:D

What is it you're doing different from when your old boss was running the business?

What about a mould release?

Hi, iam now using the same mould oil, the latex moulds come out the same and you dont use oil in it.
It must be something, I have tryed another vibrating table but just the same results.
thanks
