I,ve had a small patio laid with Indian sandstone 40sq m,s. I had some 6 years ago and they have the black spot so I want to protect my new stone. Any reccomendations?

try here jerry
Also remember if you are sealing anything that no way it can be done until warmer, drier seasons, it is to damp now so wait till summer.

Before internet know alls see my last post and start spreading it, you cant seal anything with milk, its a joke in reference to a blackpool cowboy outfit that used to do it.

Use either lithofin stain stop or better still dry treat stain proof. They are both impregnating sealants which dont leave any nasty looking sheen

Dont use a cheap multipurpose sealer that you find in Wickes or B&Q. they will leave your patio looking like its been painted with superglue.
