I have large patio ( c. 300 sq. meters) built with crazy paved natural yorkstone.
It has become black stained over the years and even jet washing will not remove the black stain. ( the Green algae etc is no problem)
I have tried the products advertised in the newspapers which make claims to revive everything to its original sate but this is just BS.
Do you have a product recommendation?
Is sandbalsting a sensible option?

It's likely to be a lichen rather than a stain I'm know there are fixes but promise me you don't sandblast it please you'll ruin it. We have a fella on here called Roger from R&A pressurewashing and what he doesn't know about cleaning paving isn't worth knowing. Search for him in the members list.
Can't see it from my house

If you want to give me a call at the weekend, I'll talk you through the cleaning process, I see you are in the Midlands so a bit to far for us to travel really.
Phone number is on our website.
