Parts of my Rompox Easy failed after 6 weeks, raked it out and redone.
It goes greenish but that wouldn't be a problem as I expect to have to clean it but after a year of being installed it just wears away.
I use this to clean my patio which is pretty tame.

Anybody have any experience of these

Arbortech

Looks ideal for raking out as a dust extractor can be fitted and it shouldn't fling dust everywhere like a grinder.

Pricey though.

Is it less dusty than a grinder, Luton?

I do quite a lot of pointing removal and hate using a grinder.

it is less dusty mate, but at the expense of speed
the arbotech has its uses but mainly on soft materials
grinding out is a total bollocks of a job eh?

Lol, same here, my old man was more about saving money than doing work to last, he got worse in his later years too.

Sorry mick, no ive not used them ever, never had an issue spending a day pointing the proper way. I hadnt heard of them until i came here and (my dad would be proud) they seemed too much money to justify
