I like the look of the slot drainage system by Marshalls, trouble is I am having difficulty finding out info about this product, prices etc. I have requested from Marshalls but no reply, do you have any experience with this type of drainage systems ? can you lay the slot system round angles other than 90 degrees ? I presume that the main part of the system is of the linear type.

Slot drains are just a specialised version of the more familar linear channels, with a narrow slot opening rather than the more usual full-width grating. You can use them anywhere you'd use a standard linear channel, and, by cutting them correctly, they can be mitred to suit any angle.

Marshalls sell them via merchants, and so that may explain their failure to respond, but, even if you're a one-off buyer just looking for a couple of lengths, they should have got back to you and put you in touch with a local stockist.

Try your local branch of Burdens, Cooper Clarke, UGS, EH Smith or Tippers, rather than the unfailingly unhelpful 'nationals' such as Travis Bloody Perkins and Effing Jewsons.
