Walling on top of patio flags - Is this possible?

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

I have a largish patio made up of Marshalls Heritage flags. It has been down for three years at looks fine.

As the patio is just a plain rectangular shape with no features, I would now like to add some interest by putting up a small decorative wall using Marshalls Ryedale walling in the same colour as the flags.

The wall would not be for retaining purposes just decoration and would be no more than two, maybe three courses high.

I have no room for footings and give that the patio is sound and has been laid on a mortar base, is it possible to build the wall directly onto the patio flags?

Thanks

As long as it is just two or three courses of the Ryedale blocks, there shouldn't be a problem.
