we swapped in august to a new supplier
"scottish power"
brilliant new rate £104 per month for gas and electricty
got a letter today
"you have used more than we thought so from next month your direct debit will be £244"
i spoke to a lady there, and she said " you have used a lot of gas"
and i said "yep,its freezing"
i can swallow it ,but you can see how old people suffer
£10 cold weather payment wont help if your bill is £250 per month

mine does the same windows wide open and boiler rattling away full bore
i keep turning the stat down a degree or 2 ,but when i look its back up to 23
we were going to have a weekend away ,but i have paid scottish power £600 and agreed (under duress) to £190 per month
so there goes her shopping weekend
miss lout is a money pit
every week its 50 or 100 pound for summat at school
piano,swimming,film club,kung fu
when i was a lad (early 70s) when we finished school we just used to belt hell out of each other and play footy in the street till dinner
now the welfare are on you unless you can shell out a tenner a day for some new exotic entertainment for your spawn
said in jest of course .................

here's another money making idea, run at after school bricklaying club for only £8 undercutting the competition !!!lutonlagerlout wrote:mine does the same windows wide open and boiler rattling away full bore
