Can a slot drain be cut to length?

We are looking for a Stainless steel slot drain, but I have only seen them in 1m lengths, but we need something like 160cm length. I assume they can be joined, but can they be cut, if so how and what would be a good make/model to go for.

It needs to drain a path that is about 160cm wide by about 6m long with the path sloping from both ends; 60mm block paving will be used to make the path.

I would go with a plastic slot drain, but black will look wrong.
(I have a bit of flexibility in the width of the path if needed.)

Yes you can cut the slot drains and they're usually sold with an end piece to give a neat and watertight finish. Personally I'd cut 200mm of each of them so the join was neatly centred.

we normally use a cut off saw i.e. stihl ts 400
