Excuse my ignorance but what time of year is it best to start laying a patio outside? I seem to remember someone saying that they wouldn't do it before March or is it just dependant on the weather?
And while we're on the subject after what time of year would you not do it?

any time is fine, you just dont want to be doing it under 4 degrees

I started an Indian sand stone patio today. Doing it under 4 degrees wasn’t an issue as it was quite warm today, it was the 4 inches of standing ground water that was a pain in’th arse!
