Hi guys
why can you not use stretcher bond for laying pavers in a home driveway? you use it for tegula pavers etc and why is herringbone a stronger joint, sorry if this question has been asked many times but I'm fed up seeing herrigbone everywhere

It's ok to lay them in stretcher bond, it just isn't the strongest pattern. With tegula you can also get jumper blocks which help lock them in tighter.als wrote:l still can't understand why it is ok for the tegula blocks to be laid in the stretcher bond then, surely that is straight lines or am I missing something, I do understand what you are saying about the herringbone being stronger, I'm just fed up seeing it in every driveway.
