Was due to start this morning but after going out to the van and finding that the wind had blown it across the yard and no one can get here due to fallen trees I took it as a sign that I need to do some more office work today. The van was left in gear with the handbrake off it seizes if you leave it on to long but thats some force to push it for 10m there have been gusts recorded at 85mph just down the road I reckon that could blow it over if I was driving.

Got in to yard today, 1 side of fence had blown over. Went to see customer I did some work for last summer because her I saw her house was up for sale, turns out she has sold it already and pissed off back to ireland. New owners want the newpatio gone (60m2 of indian sandstone) and replaced with monoblocks. Got a few messages on answering machine from folk looking for some small jobs done too which is a first for me, messages on answering machine for landscaping at this time of year I mean.

you do love your hand digging eh Tony? If i can get a digger in....then were using the machine!

I was up at 6, only got light at 8.00! Plus my right hand man has stomach ulcers, so we are on a go slow for a while.

I ended up boxing in an rsj, insulating a bedroom and plumbed in a new shower at my place. Makes a nice change to have some indoor work

could probably get a micro in dan but its so tight some of the digging that i dont see how we could do it
1 trench which i will get a photo of has a water main running down the middle of it,and a FWP running across it
IME diggers struggle with stuff like that in awkward spots

Love 750mm access micros, make life so much easier, esp with the right operator and some decent barrowers :)
