Hi people,
I need help please :( Have just opened up old fireplace in my front room and am trying to render it up because the old brick/stone looks awfull but the blooming render keeps falling off? Any ideas? DNF :)

probably the soot
you have wirebrushed the soot off havent you?
if not
1 wirebrush
2 prime with pva
3 throw KDS at the wet pva
4 let cure
5 render
LLL
