Hi! I am looking for the nearest supplier of safety paving to Wymondham, Norwich. I probably need about 20 slabs and someone to lay them. Any ideas? :)

What do you mean by "safety paving"? The rubber(ish) tiles used for play areas? Is this an installation to a private home or garden, or an installation to a commercial/civic property?

Hi Tony,
I mean concrete slabs with tactile - such as blister slabs.
Its for a commercial property.

Ronacrete manufacture and supply a range of thin (up to 6mm) preformed GRP sheets with a variety of finishes, including street blister.

Standard concrete tactile paving can be ordered via most branches of the usual suspects (Travis Bloody perkins, Jewsons, Builder Centre) or via a specialist supplier such as Burdens or Willis Heiton in Braintree.

Thanks again Tony, Ronacrete have been brilliant and their products look excellent but rather expansive for a small business like ours!

In fairness to Simeon (and the rest of 'em at Ronacrete) although their tactiles cost more per square metre, the cost of installation is a mere fraction of that required to retro-fit concrete or clay tactile units to an existing surface. This is something that is being developed further in a forthcoming page (about a week or so away from publication).
