Hi Ya Chaps, I have put a quote in for a paving job, which the client has accepted. She has looked in the Marshalls book, she has asked me my advice on the this Keybond stuff. I held my hands up and said I have never used it, which I haven't. Is it just a gimmick as you know what people are like, if you don't use what Marshalls (bible) advise, they think your pulling a fast one.
Kind regards

Its only worth using on block paving where the jointing sand will suffer from scour.

Scour is surface water washing out the jointing sand, normally only happens on really steep area’s of block paving tho.

Advise her against keybond if you know scour won’t be a problem, as it will save her a few quid. But give her a price to apply the stuff as well as she’s mentioned it.
