Soil connection to ic

I'm building an ensuite on the first floor which will require a new soil pipe outside the house. I'm intending to get building regs involved once I've a fair idea of the planned drainage. However, so I don't look too stupid, does the soil pipe have to run away from the house at a 90 degree angle ? It would fit in better with my plans if I could run it away at 45 degress (using the appropriate 87.5 degree socket rest bend) to run straight into a new IC. Many thanks.

The underground drainage can run at any angle you like, as long as it has fall. It's not unusual for the first few metres to run at, say 45 degrees to the walls until the pipework meets up with the main drainage line which usually runs parallel to the building.
