I need to pick some of your brains again. Ive got an old dumper, range rover and trailer that i use at my stables. Ive built a little fenced off area for them in one of the fields so that they dont get in the way of the horses. My problem is the grass, its grows so quickley that i have to pull everything out every few weeks to cut it. I need something to stop the grass growing, dont want to stone it in case we eventually turn it back into the field. Was thinking of old carpet but someone suggested geotextile membrane laid down. Would this work?

terram is a huge multinational company that produces a vast range of geotextiles mainly needle punched as opposed to woven, lets not band generic terms around and lible a company shall we hehe
http://www.terram.com/
as described you need a fairly heavy gauge non woven needle punched geotextile then stone over with a layer of mot type 1 or crusher run
in fact looking through terrams website and brochure they dont even do a woven fabric?????
