got a price as well for replacing 3CX, which bought new for 35k 4 yrs ago. trade in price now-23k.

excellent residual value, only prob is, i have to give the dealer 20k for new 3CX to slightly better spec than the machine it replaces.

That plus VAT?

Which places did you try for prices?

edit: Just saw your 2nd post. If it were me I wouldn't touch it just to be sure.
yeah plus vat.
the dealer is from the glasgow area

Steer well clear of that machine, it's got scam written all over it.

Yeah gotta be.

the scam will probably be you have to pay the "shipping company" probably by western union bank transfer, who will hold the money until it is delivered. they send you a tracking number, then when it doesnt turn up you find out your cash has furnished Bruno Iwuoha's bank account in Nigeria.

keep away from the jcb its a scam, trailor £800 mini £6500. regaurding cabs on minis, i've had both and i would have cab anyday. all depends what your doing, your never on them long, but it is nice to have a bit of heat on a cold day.

cab is good for your own machine but if other people are using it you will be forever paying out for new glass each time some donkey turns too close to a thick branch and breaks a window, hence why 90% of small hire machines are usually canopy

I like both canopy good squeezing into tight corners less worry about glass etc and your more connected to work easier getting in and out all day but then you have, less comfy seat, wet seat, sat there in winter getting piss wet through, no radio!!!! Biggest consideration hehe. and then like no charger etc for phone no heater but much cheaper machines

for me, kubota are the best. very smooth, and bulletproof.
Tak's are good, but no dealers round here for spares

as giles says, jcbs in this sector are to be avoided
