that looks unfeasibly good pippasmum
there are many ways to do steps like that,sometimes its just a brick at the front and lean mix behind it
or sometimes there is brickwork supporting it all the way around

the rest of the garden slopes down so was thinking with what i have left over i can do some kind of simple steps, the garden is much bigger than i thought, in the end i laid the patio to cover a 16sqmm there is alot left to do but taking a couple of weeks off now phew, wouldn't have been able to do it without your help on here
