Hi all,
Hopefully you can help me. Trying to source a supplier of concrete H posts (End, Corner and Intermediate) in the Belfast area... In fact within Northrn ireland would be nice. It would seem that there are a glut of suppliers (factory direct) in England but over here it's proving impossible :/. Am totally redoing from and back gardens myself (end of a looonnngg renovation project on house). be great if the supplier could in addition supply gravel boards, fencing and paving/block paving as would like to get from one supplier. Needless to say cheaper the better... Found 'Wrekin' Concrete Products' and they would be perfect. Have emailed them re: shipping but not holding out much hope .
If anyone has any ideas please let me know, failing that i'll have to call up fencing service companies to see who their suppliers are. Simply do not have the dosh to pay someone to do it for me ???
Thanks to one and all
Rgds
Ade

No idea about Ireland but as far as I know these are the only guys making them in Scotland (Edinburgh).

If you don't find anyone in Ireland it could be worth phoning them.

I'm a landscaper in Belfast and I can confirm that no one in the area does these posts you're only bet would be the likes of Moore's (02825 652 566) in Ballymena may do them the only other company I can think of is Quinn's but they've gone bust. It's not a popular choice of fencing up here in fact I've yet to see it used in and around this part of the country although it's popular down south so perhaps contacting some of the BM's or concrete manufacturers around Dublin might work for you. The best quallity fencing in town is Woodstoc in Bangor and the best value with out being cheap and nasty is Eglantine in Jordanstown all the suff sold by the BM's is flimsy and badly sawn. Eglantine would be able to make H posts for you out of 8'' gate posts which would look good if you can't get concrete ones. Shipping concrete posts etc from over the water will be very expensive I occasionally bring paving over and it costs about £80 a pallet. The cheapest paving is Kilaran whch is available at JP Corry's but it's not great stuff I'm a big fan of Tobermore it' good value and well made as is Acheson and Glover but they're a b#llocks to deal with but they both sell direct to the public and offer a free design service. For top end stuff try Norman Emerson for natural stone and JP Corry for Marshalls.
Can't see it from my house
