I need to replace the council type slabs in my garden with some new wet look slabs (black.dark grey)
But the prices i've been quoted from places like Wickes and B&Q have given me a heart attack... thinking there must be a cheaper source that the usual high street store...
Can anyone point me into the right direction of suppliers, thanks...

Theres has never been a better time to buy stone. I would avoid B&Q and Wickes and buy from a specialist supplier.
You need to decide on a style/colour and then have an idea of what your budget is.
Do a google search in your local area and I am sure you will find something. Also its really worth making the effort of buying from a company where you can go and see the paving on display. Also ask if you can see the stock in the yard as paving can vary from batch to batch

natural stone is often cheaper than concrete and harder wearing
see here london stone
however nothing is cheap cheap anymore
expect to pay around 20 quid a metre and upwards
it concerns me that you want wet look finish
this will need repeated sealing, which is costly
